Harrison co-directed this campaign to launch SATC’s new ‘Rewards Wonder’ brand platform.
From a production point of view, this was an incredibly ambitious job. It called for quick thinking, strong leadership, physical endurance, and confidence to change the plan on the fly, knowing the entire output was at stake.
To ensure that the camera was always rolling, we divided up into three crews; team red, team yellow, and team blue. While one crew was filming, the other two would jump ahead to the next location and get ready to receive the live camera. We did this for five days and nights without stopping.
To make the film as cinematic as possible, each crew had several different camera kits optimised for different scenarios; skydiving, swimming with sea lions, interviews with singular and multiple talent, travelling shots, and gorgeous landscapes. To make sure a lead camera was always rolling, we spent several days practicing camera handovers between the crews, as well as lens changes, which called for a whole bag of tricks and clever transitions.
