SIGNS OF LOVE
ANZ ‘MARDI GRAS’ CAMPAIGN (2019)
‘PINK FLAMINGO-GO’ - OXFORD ST, ROCKHAMPTON (QLD)
The Sydney Gay & Lesbian Mardi Gras is a wonderful celebration of love and diversity, but when 84% of LGBTIQ+ individuals believe there are still parts of Australia where they feel unsafe, the inclusion and celebration of Mardi Gras can feel like a distant dream for those living away from Sydney’s famous Oxford Street parade-route.
Realising there are 123 other Oxford Streets all over Australia, we decided to take a little bit of Mardi Gras to those who needed it most, by transforming Oxford Street signs countrywide into beacons of pride and inclusion.
In addition to the creative development, we captured most of the content for the campaign, which involved interviewing ambassadors for the launch film and capturing all the signs in 3D for Google to integrate into their Streetview platform.
